Poetry: Ed Skoog reads Mister Skylight

One of the highlights of our last Northwest performance, Fabrication, was a reading by Ed Skoog, award winning Poet and local writer in residence at Richard Hugo House.  Along with authors Cara Diaconoff and Niyahmarie Gonzales, Ed performed excerpts of his new book, “Mister Skylight”, aimed at the disaster call of New Orleans and of the heart, with humorous fillings for the audience and a heartfelt but saddened tone that caught each listener by storm.

Did you miss this recent performance with Ed?  Don’t worry.  Ed is hosting a happy hour for writers this coming Tuesday, January 25th at Richard Hugo House.  Looking to fill those pages for your next poetry manuscript?  Join Ed for his Master Class in Poetry this spring.  Visit Richard Hugo House online in upcoming weeks for online registration and course listings.

Stay tuned as we love to brag about our favorite authors.  We’ll be visiting Ed again soon!
